We consider connecting school education with the real environment of an industrial company to be essential. That is why students from several secondary schools are currently completing professional internships at our company. Our goal is to give young people the opportunity to experience their future profession in practice and gain experience that will help them in their further studies and careers.
At our IT department, students of Information Technology from the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics in Ostrava, as well as from the Orlová Grammar School and Business Academy, are currently taking part in internships. During their placement, they are involved in activities such as network diagnostics, cabling work, laptop disassembly and assembly, and PC configuration.
“This is the closest we have come to experiencing real IT operations during all of our school practice,” the students said in their feedback, which we greatly appreciate.
They were particularly interested in the connection between the server infrastructure and production operations, as well as in our new Li-Ion battery processing facility.
Other students currently completing internships with us include:
- Electrical Engineering students from SPŠEI, who are becoming familiar with the BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) GAZ ENERGY,
- students from PRIGO Business Academy working in the marketing and finance departments,
- a student of Applied Chemistry from the Secondary Industrial School in Hranice gaining experience in our laboratory.
Supporting young talent and cooperating with schools are of long-term importance to us. We want all students to leave with practical knowledge and experience they can apply in their future professional lives.
We would also like to thank our colleagues who dedicate their time to the students during their internships, share their expertise, and help them understand how the company operates in a real industrial environment.
